The Recycling Center is located behind the Fire Station in Brookside. It is open Wednesday evenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. Summer hours for Saturdays beginning Memorial Day thru Labor Day are 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. *** During Named Snowstorms and Blizzards, the Recycling Center may be closed due to Safety Concerns. *** See Facebook Page "Town of Pensaukee Town Hall & Community Center" for the most up-to-date information on closings.
Recyclables such as Paper, Plastic, Glass, and Steel are accepted for free. Prices for Garbage Bags are $1.50 per bag with tag and $2.00 without tags. Garbage that does not fit in a bag will be charged as determined by the Recycling Center attendant.
Tags can be purchased from the town treasurer in an number of ways. Stop by the town hall when she is there (usually Saturday mornings), mail check with appropriate amount to Sandra Falk, 2464 Sampson Road, Little Suamico, WI 54141 and the tags can then be picked up at the Recycling Center or include a self-addressed stamped envelope and the tags will be mailed to you. We do not accept Credit Cards of any kind.
