Animal Control

Forms and Permits

Burning permits can be obtained online from the DNR Website or by phone by calling 1-888-947-2876. See link to WI DNR Burning Permits in the section marked Links.

Go to the Oconto County Official Website. Go to the Departments List. Select Land Information. Select Physical Address. Go down to Forms & Documents. For a new Physical Address sign, use the Physical Address Application form. For a Replacement sign, use the Replacement Physical Address Sign Order Form.

Garbage and Recycling Info

Containers for glass, aluminum, plastic, cardboard, gloss paper and waste oil are provided for recycling. Scrap metal is also accepted for recycling. Appliances, televisions, computers, tires, etc. will be accepted for a fee. Clear or see-thru bags should be used for garbage.

The Recycling Center is open on Wednesdays, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to Noon, except during the summer when the Saturday hours are changed to from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
