Notice of Resolution

Town of Pensaukee

Whereas, Wis. Stat. 59.69(5) requires a county to notify town clerks of ordinance amendments to Chapter 9 or changes in zoning district designations within the towns.

Whereas, Wis. Stat. 59.69(5)(g) allows that A county clerk may submit to a town clerk by electronic mail the materials described in subd. 1. if the county clerk includes with the electronic mail a request that the town clerk promptly confirm receipt of the materials by return electronic mail. If the county clerk does not receive such confirmation within 2 business days, the county clerk shall submit the materials to the town clerk by certified mail.

Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the Town of Pensaukee requests that Oconto County only send ordinance amendments and/or zoning district designation changes via electronic mail; and

Be it Further Resolved, that the Town of Pensaukee acknowledges that Wis. Stat. § 59.69(5)(g) provides that electronic service is effective if the County Clerk receives a response in two (2) days. This Resolution shall serve as the two (2) day response and vitiate any need for further mailing.

Be it Further Resolved, that a copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Oconto County Clerk.
