Municipal Board of Canvassers will meet at the Pensaukee Town Hall in Brookside on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 4 p.m.
The Supreme Court ruled that absentee ballots from the April 7, 2020 election are to be counted if they are hand-delivered by 8 p.m. on Election Day, or if they are mailed with a postmark on or before April 7, 2020 and are received by 4 p.m. on April 13, 2020.
The Town of Pensaukee had eighty-seven (87) absentee ballots that were not returned by Election Day. Thus, the Board of Canvassers will reconvene at the above date, time and location to process and count any late-arriving absentee ballots for the votes cast in the April 7, 2020 Election.
The public is welcome to attend.
